It goes without saying that a home with loads of natural lighting oozing though the windows is ideal, but of course even in the best of natural lighting situations we still need some artificial light to help us along.
With this being said why not try out some of the unique fixtures that are out there?
I've really been obsessing over a quite large lantern pendant light that I've seen in the foyer of this home...
Actually I love the entire foyer :) That mirror is so grand!
The lantern look works great indoors as well as in an outdoor lounging area....love the candlelight!
I couldn't find where this light fixture came from, but it looks like something that could fairly easily be replicated as a DIY project.
I'm a big fan of drum shades, they can be so versatile, but stay true to their simple form. This one with the clear rings is sooo pretty!
