What I Did Over the Weekend

Lot's was happening in our neck of the woods over the weekend and the boy and I made sure we were a part of it!

Every year in Frankenmuth, MI there is the Zehnder's Snowfest where several schools and groups compete in snow block and ice sculptures. So thousands upon thousands of people brave the 10ยบ weather to appreciate the amazing talents of the sculptures, eat delicious food, listen to music, and watch a fireworks show.

Here's a peek at what it's like:

After about ten minutes of walking around, your body kind of goes numb and the cold doesn't seem so unbearable :)

Sunday was the last day of the 2013 Detroit Auto Show so as car enthusiasts we had to be there (once again along with thousands and thousands of people!).

It was absolutely amazing! I must have snapped hundreds of pictures of beautiful cars! I sat in as many as I could of course, which at times meant I was competing with lots of other people for a turn ( I actually raced a little girl to sit in a Porsche, she won).

I honestly couldn't choose a favorite because if given the chance I would have drove home in any of these cars, but I wanted to share some of the highlights with you. The pictures don't do the cars justice!

Hope everyone else enjoyed their weekend as much as we did!
