In the February issue of Southern Living this absolutely gorgeous kitchen was featured and I fell in love.
I've always appreciated color in the kitchen, mostly because it's fairly unconventional, and the combination of teal and aqua combined with gold accents is no exception!
I had to find more from spaces form designer Amie Corley.
I am really digging these counter stools and would love some for myself :)
Amie's spaces are full of mixed vintage and current pieces for a lived in feel. And she is not afraid of color!
This sitting area is
sooo adorable I can't get over it!
I would never have expected to see an art piece like this (of a car!) in a dining room...the colors actually help in tying the space together.
Her website is currently 'Coming Soon' and I can't wait to see what other work she has been up to!

Love all of these spaces! The perfect balance of feminine, vintage, and current style!
Too funny about those stools.. They were huge while I was growing up and I can't believe they are back..
That second room is gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing Darci, I was not aware of her at all and can't wait to see more.
ooooh - love a brave person who puts color in her home!
Is brown a color ? haha - cause it's all over my bedroom a deep chocolate color that puts me to sleep and snuggles with me at night!
Lovely blog and post!
thank you! and yes I think brown can count...the previous owners of my home thought it was the only color!
