I've spent the past few days fighting off this cold that has been going around (thanks to the boy for giving it to me). I play a pretty pathetic sick person. I try milking the situation as much as I can...it's terrible really. If my mom still lived close by she would be making me soup and taking my temp for me :)
Now that I'm coming around and am actually able to look at a computer screen I thought it would be fun to share my thoughts on a perfect romantic dinner for two since Valentine's is next week! I'm not much for overly-crowded restaurants and since I love cooking, V-day is the perfect day to go all out!

The menu:
spaghetti w/ meatballs*
*I didn't include a spaghetti recipe just because I'm going with the general assumption everyone knows how to make it (which could be wrong). Not to mention I make my own pasta and sauce so it can be more work than one really wants.
Anybody else prefer a meal in on Valentine's Day?

Too cute! Seriously love Vday! I'm going to have a girls valentines day lunch on how to on my blog next week!
YUMMERS!!! so cute and sounds like the perfect menu!
We ate in last year and had a little dinner party of sorts with some family. We made a simple meal, but used the "fancy" dishware and cloth napkins. We didn't miss a thing and quite frankly were happy to enjoy an extra glass of wine by staying in! Sounds like you are in for a lovely night...
No going out on Valentine's day for me other.. Much rather hang out home.. Feel better!
